What is the runtime directory ?

The runtime directory is the directory where all runtime data is stored.

For example, the sessions

Default value

By default, it's the .aitm directory located in:

  • the closest git project from the working directory if found
  • otherwise under the $HOME directory

Environment

The runtime directory may be set via the AITM_RUNTIME_DIR environment variable.
